Our Shows: At Dry Heat, we’re not your typical comedy club. We seldom book headliners or feature acts directly; instead, we curate exciting showcases that spotlight a variety of comedians, each bringing their unique style to the stage for short, punchy sets. It’s a fantastic way to experience the Albuquerque audience’s warmth and share the stage with our incredible local talent.
How to Get Booked: We’re thrilled to open our stage to comedians passing through Albuquerque! If you’re planning to be in town here’s how to reach out:
- Email Us: Drop a line to dryheatcomedyabq@gmail.com with your preferred dates. Let us know when you’ll be in town
- Share Your Talent: Include a recent performance video. We’re looking for quality sets with lots of laughs that show off your best work.
- Show Your Face: Attach your most recent headshot.
- Tell Us About You: Don’t forget to include a brief bio and any vouches. We love knowing more about you.
Please Note: We’re all about showcasing talent that’s already making a trip to Albuquerque. While we’re unable to offer travel stipends or accommodations, we provide an unforgettable platform and an enthusiastic audience ready to laugh with you and we do pay you for your time on stage.

Is there anyone who can’t perform at Dry Heat?
Yeah, for safety reasons, we don’t let the following kinds of folks perform at our club. (But don’t worry, if you don’t fall into these groups, we’re generally pretty laid back).
- Folks with outstanding, credible abuse allegations made against them
- Folks who have been violent with us in the past
- Folks who are active members of hate groups or who actively use their platform to encourage violence against vulnerable groups (the way hate groups do)
- Folks who do dangerous stuff onstage, like eating fire or knife throwing (we love that, but our space just can’t handle it!)
- Folks who have already been kicked out of Dry Heat for being a disruptive audience member.
- And anyone else we deem unfit for the stage—as a business, we reserve the right to refuse service (or stage time) to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
